Transportation to Airport from Algiers City Center
Houari Boumediene Airport
It is possible to reach Houari Boumediene International Airport from the city center by taking the advantage of bus or metro line. If you prefer a more relaxing and fast journey, you can take a taxi or rent a car.
Taxi
You can easily find a taxi at every corner of the city center. For safety reasons, it is better to take a taxi from taxi stands or you can also ask your hotel to arrange a taxi for you. Publicly known as Algiers International Airport, Houari Boumediene International Airport is located 20 kilometers southeast of Algeria. The airport serves its passengers with two terminal buildings, one for domestic flights and one for international flights.

The purple coloured buses start their journey towards the city center in the morning. The last bus is at 18:00. After this time if you can not find a bus when you land at the airport, you can look for a taxi or rental car to take you to the city center. It is possible to travel from Brunei International Airport to the city center by using buses 23, 36, 24 and 38. You may be expected to pay for the bus ticket in Brunei Dollars. Therefore, before leaving the airport terminal and taking the bus or taxi, do not forget to convert some of your money into the local currency of the country.
