Transportation to Airport from Sevilla City Center

Seville Airport

Sevilla, the central and most important city of the Andalusian Autonomous Region in the south of Spain, is an inner harbor, thanks to the Guadalquivir River, although it is 87 kilometers away from the Atlantic Ocean. Wine, olives, mushrooms and fruits are exported from the city, which is the most important internal port of the country. There is an airport in Sevilla, which is also an important shipbuilding center. There are several alternatives to transport to the airport.

Bus

Although there is a metro line in the city that has two football teams in La Liga, there is no metro line that serves the airport at the moment. As a result, buses are being used to get to the airport from the city center. Between 04.30 and 00.30, buses depart from Armas Square every half hour and arrive at the airport in about 30 minutes.

Taxi

It is possible to reach the airport in less than one hour with taxis located at every point of the city. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the airport by taxi from Armas Square, Cartuja Island, San Jeronimo and Sevilla Cathedral, which are the central points of the city.

Private Vehicle

You can also reach the airport by private car or rental car in Sevilla, where you can see traffic at certain times along the Guadalquivir River and in the historical and cultural center of the city. To do this you need to take the Concejal Alberto Jimenez - Becerril Boulevard in the city center along the Guadalquivir River and reach Juventudes Musicales Boulevard. This road will connect you directly to Ronda Urban. If you follow the Ronda Urban route, you will first arrive at Autovia del Sur and then to the airport. The airport hosts four parking areas for VIP parking, long and short term temporary public parking.

Sevilla Airport, along with Granada Airport, is the most important airport in the Andalusian Autonomous Region with an annual number of 4 million passengers. There are also many cafes, restaurants and shops at the airport, which is frequently visited by commercial and touristic purposes. In the stores you can find many different kinds of wines which are among the most important products of Andalusia.

Other local and national products can also be found at airport stores and duty free. Stores selling both FC Sevilla and Real Betis, two teams from Sevilla in La Liga, which is considered the best football league in the world, products are also available at the airport.

Transportation to Edinburgh City Center from Airport

Edinburgh Airport

Edinburgh Airport is an international airport serving the city, located 12 km away. You can get to the city center from the airport by taxi, tram, or Airlink. You can also rent a car from the airport to get to the city center.

Airlink Buses

The best way to get to the city center from the airport is by taking an Airlink bus. Airlink buses run very frequently and provide easy and affordable transportation to the city. The total trip takes about 30 minutes and the fare is very reasonable.  

Tram

The tram is another transportation alternative to get to the city center. The tram stop is located at the airport and provides transportation York Place Station, located in the city center. The total trip to the city from the airport by tram takes about 35 minutes.

Taxi

A taxi to the city center from the airport takes about 25 minutes. Taxis are available at the ground level across from the main terminal building. However, taking a taxi can be quite expensive so it isn’t a highly preferred method of transportation.

Rental Car

Renting a car is another way to get to the city center. There are various rental car companies located at the airport. Rental car companies that you can choose from include Alamo, Europcar, National, and Avis. Edinburgh is a city that is notorious for its natural beauty and history. Renting a car and driving to the city is easy and picturesque.
