Taxis and shuttle buses take passengers from the newly built King Shaka Airport, which is 40 kilometres from the city of Durban. If you wish to take private transportation then there are many car rental companies within the airport.

A Hassan, Cabz4U, City Cabs, Checker and Eagle taxi companies compete with each other to take passengers into the city but they have an agreed fixed price among themselves.
